1949	Founding of our company for the production of chemical products for the cosmetics, chemical and agricultural industry by Karl Kläger. 6 garages in Augsburg, Bavaria, serve as production site.

1953	Expansion of the product range by aerosol can filling.

1956	Development of the first "Kläger" brand hand sprayer. Outsourcing of the production of the newly developed types.

1967	Relocation to the new company headquarters in Neusäss near Augsburg. The company's objective is the production of plastic bottles and hand sprayers as well as the bottling of liquids and aerosols under one roof.

1970	Restructuring of Karl Kläger KG. The business field of contract bottling for liquids, creams and aerosols is delegated to the newly founded VEMA Industrie-Verpackung GmbH & Co. KG.

1970	Start of production of various plastic bottles in our own factory.

1978	Karlheinz Kläger becomes involved in his parent's enterprise.

1980	Conversion of Karl Kläger KG to Kläger Plastik GmbH. Start of the joint management by Karl Kläger and Karlheinz Kläger.

1980	Integration of an internal tool and mould construction department as well as an injection moulding manufacture for the production of sprayer components. Start of hand sprayer serial production at the Neusäss plant.

1980	Development and construction of compressed air sprayers under management of Karlheinz Kläger as well as the start of serial production.

1992	Founding of another production site in Hartha / Saxony.

1996	Kläger Plastik Neusäss and Hartha are certified acc. to DIN EN ISO 9001.

2000	Relocation to the newly constructed production site in Hartha.

2000	VEMA Industrie-Verpackung GmbH & Co. KG is certified acc. to DIN EN ISO 9001.

2001	Expansion of the tool construction section and the office building in Neusäss.

2001	Death of our senior director Karl Kläger. His son Karlheinz Kläger manages the company as sole managing director from now on.

2003	All three companies in the corporation are certified acc. to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

2006	Kläger Plastik Hartha starts engaging in microinjection moulding technology.

2006	Investment into a blow-moulding facility at the Hartha location. This now enables the production of technical blow-moulding parts and hollow parts with a volume of up to approx. 5 litres.
